Weekly OH Playlist from The Purveyor of Travelling Lifestyles
As I am sitting here waiting for my train planning out a playlist for this week. I can't help but curl my lips up into a smile. I have found inspiration in the strangest of places…a pair of electric yellow Carrera sunglasses. Big and unapologetically ugly these glasses have given me an idea. Maybe not an idea so to speak but the beginning of a narrative. Burning down my back is the warm thought of a pink highlight tracing itself into a scorpion. Visions of a lone boat against the backdrop of an overexposed sunset gesticulating up and down in perfect synthesized tune. This weeks list is lightly peppered with 80's inspired synth pop. Something about listening to synthesizers while looking out the window of a anything moving makes the landscape dance a bit philosophical..or at least look more like a 3D version of "Space Invaders." I am going back to a time where you could smoke on trains and snorting your weight in cocaine in one night wash't considered suicide, but just fashionably stylish. Please do not take this as an endorsement for the use of illegal substances, but merely historical record of an era. Eat your vegetables and stay healthy! Also in the way of palette cleansing you will find some random stuff that's stuck on repeat in my "walkman." As always good travels and remember Oasis Hostels are good for you!
